Never had a Driver's License? All first time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their license. Take the 4 hour class at your convenience and from the privacy of your own home! By taking this course, you will learn about how alcohol and other drugs affect your ability to drive, laws and responsibilities, safe driving techniques, and how to increase your awareness on our roadways. You will also have the option of taking your driver's license exam online after completing this course (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Must pass a vision, road signs and road rules tests.
• Must have a signature of a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
• Must complete a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education Course.
• Two forms of identification.
• Social Security Number or Green Card

The written exam will include 20 questions on road rules and 20 road signs to identify. To pass you must get at least 15 road rules questions and 15 road signs correct. See Florida Driver's Handbook for additional requirements.

You can now take your state written test online after you complete your online 4 hour first time drivers class. (You will be charged by the DMV for your license.)

If you have a Florida Driver's license OR you received a ticket in Florida, then the 4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI & TCAC) course is for you! No points on your record for the current violation, no insurance increases as long as there is no accident associated with the ticket (statute 318.14 (9)), and your safe driver status will be maintained. Under Florida law, you may elect to attend a basic driver improvement course once in any 12-month period but no more than five times in any 10 year period. Holders of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) are not eligible to take this course per 318.14.

An easy-to-take course specifically designed for Mature Drivers. You cannot lose your license nor have your insurance rate raised as a result of not passing the Florida Mature Driver Program. The only report issued to your insurance is your Certificate of Completion.  Because our Florida Mature Driver Course is 100% online, you have the flexibility to study on your time table, not a classroom. Do a little at a time or as much as you want, it's entirely up to you.
