OSHA is a federal agency of the Department of Labor. Their mission is to provide safe and healthy working conditions for all workers to reduce injury and death that occurs at working site.
The function of OSHA is setting standards and conducting workplace inspection to ensure employers are up to date with the standards, and providing a safe and healthful work place. OSHA requires reasonable and protective practices, methods, and process of job for the well being of the employees. OSHA ensures that these requirements for employees be provided by the employers. Employers should become familiar with the standard applicable to their establishment. If the work site is not hygienic and dangerous for the employees to work, then they should eliminate such hazardous conditions.
OSHA does inspection whether the equipments used by the employers are protective or not. Employees are responsible to know all the rules and regulation that are applicable to their own actions and conduct.
For all these actions, OSHA has provided training for both employers and employees so that a good working environment can be created. OSHA has provided the two types of courses listed below.
OSHA 30 Hour Construction
This online course provides a comprehensive overview of OSHA safety standards and hazard recognition procedures for the construction industry, and is designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. With this course, you will learn about OSHA’s construction industry requirements, useful topics such as personal protective equipment, fall protection, health hazards in construction and more. This course is designed for entry level personal as well as safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors. The curriculum includes required and elective topics. Completion of this course will provide you with an extensive understanding of OSHA compliance requirements.
Once you have successfully completed all of the modules, you must pass a final exam to receive full credit for the course. The exam will test your knowledge on information covered throughout the course. You must make a score of at least 70% to pass this course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive your OSHA 30 hour certificate.

OSHA 30 Hour General
The goal of online OSHA Safety Training is to offer safety courses. This 30 Hour General Industry Course is designed so that you will be better prepared to tackle the dangers and hazards of not only your work environment and the environment of those that you supervise and educate while on the job.
